Anup Bhandari took Sandlawood by storm when his “Rangi Taranaga” competed with blockbuster films like “Baahubali” and “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, to record great collections across the world. His next film “Rajaratha” was launched with a grand fanfare. However, it was delayed due to various reasons and will finally hit the screens on January 26.
The film will also release in Telugu as “Rajaratham.” This was one of the reasons for the film being delayed, as it had to be shot twice. Now the news has broken that the film has reportedly been made at a budget of Rs 25 crores!!!
This amount includes expenses for print and publicity. A whole lot of this is being spent on Telugu marketing. Ajay Reddy, Anju Vallabhaneni, Vishu Dakappagari and Sathish Sastry have jointly produced the film. Ajay Reddy, who is a popular overseas distributor, was so impressed with the content of the film, that he asked the director to do the Telugu version as well. He is confident of the film doing well in Telugu and is therefore spending a bomb on marketing the film in Telugu.
