Mangaluru: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday, March 6 said that if the North-Eastern states can be Congress and Communist free states, it is necessary for Karnataka to be a Congress Mukth (free) state.
“The BJP has come to power with a two-thirds majority in Tripura. And along with its allies has formed a government in Nagaland and Meghalaya,” said Adityanath at the valedictory ceremony of the Jana Suraksha Yatra at the Nehru Maidan.
Commenting on the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP’s) electoral performance in the three north-eastern states, Tripura, Nagaland and Meghalaya, Adityanath said that the Congres, which was the second opponent of BJP, has reduced to zero positions in the recent elections. Even in Nagaland the Congress has gained zero positions.”
“The Congress is a problem for this nation and Karanataka is facing security problems because of them,” Adityanath claimed.
Adityanath also said that the BJP has formed the government in 22 states with development and good administration and added that the Congress has failed to develop Karnataka.
“When the activists of the BJP party are not safe in the state, what must be the condition common man?” he questioned. Twenty three activists of the BJP and the Sangh Parivar were killed in the state by the Jihadi and anti-national elements. The Karnataka government led by the Congress party is protecting such anti-social elements and withdrawing cases against them, he alleged.
He also accused the Karanataka government of being an ATM for the Congress party and claimed that electing the BJP is a way to stop this loot.
Questioning the Siddaramaiah lead state government, Adityanath said that the Uttar Pradesh government has waived off 86 lakh farmers’ bank loan. “We haven’t demanded the money from the Union government or imposed tax upon the people. But, we did it with dedication and commitment by stopping the misappropriations. We have waived off amounts of up to Rs 1 lakh for farmers, why can’t the Congress government do this in Karnataka? The farmers’ deaths is serious problem in the country,” he said.
Adityanath also informed that after he assumed office, the Uttar Pradesh government has controlled the crime rates in the state. He also claimed that investors from all over the country are approaching the state for investment.
He assured that the BJP in Karanataka is ready to provide a corruption free and crime free government in the state.
Union minister Ananth Kumar Hegde, BJP State president Yeddyurappa, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Shobha Karandlaje, Prathap Simha and others were present.
